Mike Douglas has passed on.
See you on the flip side, Mike.
I originally conceived this post as a tribute to an alumnus of Brookline High (like me). Turns out I was thinking of Mike Wallace, host of 60 Minutes.
What other (real) BHS alumni would be memorialized on this blog if they were to croak?
- Me
- Corbin Bernsen -- rumored
- Conan O'brien
- Bob Kraft (owns the Patriots)
- Theo Epstein
- Mike Dukakis (OK, that's a stretch)
- Francis Ouimet
- Flora Alekseyeun - of Real World Miami fame. Her mom used to do my mom's nails.
I would also like to point out that the Next Karate Kid, starring the deceased Pat Morita and Oscar-winning-actress Hilary Swank, was filmed at BHS.

You won't remember this (or weren't actually alive yet) but Mike Douglas had a pretty popular talk show, kind of similar to Merv Griffin, in the 70s (At least I think it was the 70s). I used to enjoy it when I was (ahem) young.
As far as your illustrious alumni, you had me at Conan O'Brien. One of my college roommates went there, which would be more interesting if I could remember her name.

I've been told I look like a Jewish Conan O'Brien :-)...
Of course, he went to Harvard, so I guess the similarities end there.

Maybe on the phone. I don't see a resemblance but you are both funny, that's for sure.

Correction, you look like a disfigured and disabled Conan O'Brien, the Jewishy part is immaterial.
